Poolside

It's officially summer.  Today was the last day for students.  I have three more days of meetings/check-out procedures and then 9 weeks with my little girl!  I have to say it was incredibly hard to get out of bed this morning because I was already in a summer state of mind.  Yesterday was our first official pool day.  We waited until the sun went down a little, but I think both of the girls enjoyed their day.

Gma and Papi had to clean out the pool a little first, so the girls played with the water table on the deck.  Mallory decided about half way through that she wanted to scale the giant crab sandbox instead, but I did get some of them playing first.

Love those little butts!  They are too stinking cute together!  :-)

Mallory's first dip of the year!  Too bad her floatie had a hole in it.  (Notice how deflated it is).  We'll have to get a new one so that she can start swimming.  She loved kicking her feet in the water, and we sat on the steps and played for a little while.

Overall it was a pretty great day at the pool!  Be prepared for tons of photos this week!  Addie's birthday is Wednesday, and Mallory turns one on Friday.  I can't believe that she is already a year old.  It really does go way too fast!
