Busy Week!

We've had a busy week in the Chewning house!  Mallory turned three months, and Daddy turned the big 3-0, and we met Kolby.  But I've been slacking on my blog because so many other things have been occupying my evenings, and frankly 9:30 is my bedtime.  :-)  So here's the week in review:


Wednesday:  I played catch-up with my school work.  Had I known that I was going to have a four day weekend the week before, I would have brought my grading home.  But, I took the evening to catch myself up.

Thursday:  Mallory turned 3 months old!  She is growing up so fast!  She has started to grab onto things when she is playing, and really is developing a personality. 

Friday:  Chris turned 30!

I think that he was suprised by his birthday gift.  He didn't get to go to a Caps game at all last season, and my husband LOVES the Caps.  So, I got him tickets to see them in a few weeks.  Do you think he is excited?

We went out to celebrate at the Cheesecake Factory just the two of us.  It was nice to have a date night and of course eat some yummy food! 

Saturday:  We took a trip to Grandma's.  Mallory got to meet Uncle Charlie, Aunt Val, Dustin, Shannon, Autumn, and of course her buddy Kolby! She didn't seem too happy about her picture being taken, but daddy took it while she was eating.  Hasn't he learned that you don't mess with a Chewning and their food?  :-)    

Kolby is three weeks old.  Hopefully they're going to be best buddies!

Grandma also had a cake for Daddy!  She put a baby picture on it, and a "bow tie" since he was always so stylish as a little guy.  :-)

I'm sure today will be super eventful as well.
