Meet Mallory the Monkey!
Chris and I picked out Mallory's name the week that we found out that we were having a girl. But as most of you know, we kept her name a secret. We figured that there should be some suprise in our pregnancy for other people, so we wanted to keep it a secret. It became a fun little game that we played with our parents. (Although, my mom would not agree that it was fun.) When we were doing our registry, we found a "Mallory the Monkey" toy, and thought...wouldn't it be funny if we put that on our registry. So, we did. And it was out there for the world to see, and even though they knew her first name started with an M, Mallory was only brought up once. :-)
Anyway...someone bought us Mallory, and I brought her out today. Our Mallory has been grasping at toys lately, so I thought all the textures and noises that she makes would be fun for her. She especially loves the ribbon skirt!
