Plum-tastic

So I've been making baby food now since November.  We have seen just about every shade of orange, yellow, green, and off-white...but this past weekend I made plums for Mallory.  She loved them, and I have to say they were some of my favorite to make and look at.


They are next to my butternut squash puree...which uses the same method as below for cooking. 

Here's the puree version:

Halve plums and remove pit.  Do not remove skin!
Place plums in a baking dish. 
Fill the baking dish with approximately 1 inch of water.
Bake the plums at 400 degrees for approximately 20 minutes.
Remove from oven, and let cool.
Remove plums from skins
Add a little bit of the water you baked them in.
Puree  (I use my Baby Bullet, which I LOVE!)
