The office/playroom is pretty much complete. There will be a few additions (like Mallory's super cool Christmas gift), but it's pretty much a finished project. We love spending time in there.
Here's a virtual tour of the office:

My list of projects:
- Closet shelving & curtain. Curtain & Rod are from Target. Closet shelving is from Home Depot. My Uncle Jon did an awesome job installing it.
- Closet organization & wrapping station. (This was a must!) I was tired of losing wrapping stuff. Now it's all easy to find.
- Hanging my diplomas! They haven't been up for a while...
- My giant M above the desk. It's a cardboard M I found at JoAnne Fabrics, covered in leftover purple ribbon. I corked the bottoms so that it can be used to hang notes too.
- My chalkboard table. This was a $40 Salvation Army find. It's a rod iron table that had a wood top. The top was a little worn, but after some sandpaper, felt leveling strips (from the Dollar Tree!), primer, and a two coats of Chalkboard spraypaint, it's an awesome table that Mallory LOVES to color on. On top of the table there is also a table top paper holder from Ikea (6.99) with a roll of butcher block paper (4.99). It makes clean up and hanging a snap.
- Two chairs from Ikea. (One for Mal and one for Addie)
- Storage for Mallory's toys. This was simply reorganizing. The shelf and bins were in the guest bedroom closet housing my purses, wrapping stuff, and a few other odds and ends. Now, it's the perfect place to hide toys!
- Wall art. Spray painted boxes and frames that we already had. Some of the frames got cork inside of them. Mallory finger painted, I made some crayon art. The butterflies were $3.00 at the Farmer's Market. I spray painted them teal. The funny thing about the butterflies...my mom bought the same ones when she was in her early 20's. :-)
- My mom gave us her daybed. It's already had it's first guest, and there is plenty of storage underneath! All I had to buy were a few throw pillows. Mallory picked all of them out.
- My final "project" was finding a rug. I LOVE this one from Ikea!
