Spring Break Part 1

My Spring Break is halfway over.  I'm looking forward to spending the next 5 days enoying time with my family...but here's what happened the first 5 days of break....

Saturday I flew into Charlotte for Michelle's Bridal Fiesta! Kind of a blast from the past--as three of her bridesmaids are friends from high school.  It was like hanging out at her mom's on a Friday night pigging out on junk food again.  I took my camera out, and totally was going to take pictures, but I got caught up.  I promise there will be more from the wedding (as Chris will be in charge of the camera)...but here are a few...

Sunday, I went shoe shopping with mom, and found shoes for Michelle's wedding.  And...then we drove Addie home.  It was my first time really away from Mallory, and I was disappointed when I came home and she was sleeping.  But she was all smiles when she saw me in the morning.

Monday, we had our AC replaced.  Sing "bye bye tax money, bye bye."  They were here almost all day--and if you stop by the house, no that is not a space ship that has landed next to our chimney...it's our AC unit.  Jokes aside, we were on borrowed time with the old system (as it is the original to the house).  Hopefully our energy bills will improve.  I have to say the touch screen thermostat that can come off of the wall is kinda cool.  :-)

Mallory and I have hung out for the past two days.  It's been relaxing (as relaxing as 2 days with a 9 month old who is crawling and climbing on everything can be).  We've  taken a walk, gone to the grocery store, hung out in our pjs...

ate some new foods...

giggled to show off our 4 teeth (with two more on the way!)...

 and played a lot!

It's been a great Spring Break so far!  Hopefully I can get some of my work done over the next few days, but I totally plan on enjoying the rest of my week as a stay-at-home mom.  :-)
