Landscaping

For Mother's Day, my dad came over and helped me tackle another project.  My front yard.  Dun Dun Dun.... It's a good thing my manicure wasn't needed for this weekend, because these two hands got a work out. 

Dad thought out a design for the front of the house, and went shopping to make it come to life.  Mallory enjoyed playing in the front yard...

Then, we dug a few holes, mulched and voila!  The front of the house is transformed!

I wish I could have spent Mother's Day with my mom, or that my current situation was different, but I had a blast with my dad and Mallory.  And overall, it was a pretty good weekend for me.  I think I'm finding that Monica girl I pushed to the side for way too long.  I surely did miss her.
